Departed from Ayutthaya at 950am, it takes 6hours to reach Sukothai with bus fare of 355B. Another long journey! Once reached Sukothai, i was stunned. It's really a small town. It's famous with very own historical places. Cool~ The first night in Sukothai was really nothing besides eat.. hahahaha.. dinner was their bazaar's special, pork sausage & mini cream-puff.. but the seller couldn't speak english, so we used sign language to communicate! they were even once tried to ignore both of us! pity tourists! LOL!!

We walked out from guest house at 11am, thought of renting bicycle again but after Ayutthaya's lesson, maybe its better to hire a tuk-tuk for sight-seeing around Historical Place at Sukothai. We came to another guest house and in front of it there was a tuk-tuk waiting. We asked about the tour, it was 700B but after negotiating, the best price was 600B for whole day.. It's worth enough if compared with the one at Ayutthaya.. The driver named Dodo, he's very friendly and even he showed us some testimonials wrote by his customer, and he called them friends.. hahahaha..

First station that Dodo brought us to was Wat Changlum at old town of Sukothai. Ohhh we stayed at new town, Sukothai.. From new town to old town, it takes around 30mins! I felt Dodo has the his passion with his job! He was the 1st tour guide who asked for the camera! I mean snapped for us! hahahaha..

Then when we were heading to Historical Park of Sukothai, I saw signboard of 'Buddha Foot Print'. I was curious about it and Dodo said maybe we can drop by at that place.. As we go, there were temples along the road, whenever he came to a temple, he horns. As he said this is the culture of people in Sukothai, this action is to pay respect to the Buddha that they'r crossing the road. I found this is interesting.

Next station was Historical Park of Sukothai. Entrance fee for Historical Park was 100B and extra 30B for transport. That's weird.. LOL!! There were few famous stops inside the Historical Park which are Wat Tra Phang Thong, Wat Mahathat, Wat Si Sawai, Wat Sa Si, Wat Sra Sri & Wat Tra Pang Tra Kuan. They are awesome and Dodo told us that during Loy Krathong, the King of Thai will celebrate this annual event at Historical Park. In this very historic pathway, we stopped by when we saw people soak in the water! Dodo told us they were finding water snails, for that, they'll earn 200B per day. Again, we both were wondering how could thai survive?!

After Historical Park, we had our lunch at somewhere called The Coffee Cup, recommended by Dodo. Their food is just nice & consider cheap. We bought Dodo lunch, he was so reluctant. Even when we were on the table, he moved his chair to another direction saying its improper to have lunch together with customers, such a principled tour guide! hahahaha...

We continued our journey to Wat Sorasak, Wat Son Khao, Wat Mae Chan before entering Wat Si Chum which located outside Historical Park, entrance fee of 100B. Wat Si Chum is a huge sitting Buddha. I was amazed by Wat Si Chum structure & everything!! how could they built this up?! Its really peace to stay inside the 'temple', i enjoyed everything!! Not to forget, pray for the world is a must! ohh ohh, when we were about to leave, there was a angmo, she likes my shirt! i was so shy to tell her that actually that's my pajamas!! :P

Last station was Wat Saphan Hin, entrance fee of 100B. Wat Saphan Hin is famous with standing Buddha on the top of the hill, we have to 'climb' 300m before reaching. Another amazing place.. I love Sukothai... :)

Before back to the GH, Dodo brought us to a market for souvenir. ok! we got a 'stone'! LOL!! Reached GH at 6pm and we ended our last night at Sukothai with plenty of fooooooooood! wheee...
